“Every great community deserves a place to gather, cheer, and simply be together.”
Our Story
From Pavement to Pub
For Dipak Lodhia, growing up in England meant the street was the first social club. Hopscotch wasn’t just a game; it was a ritual of chalk, laughter, and friendly competition that bridged every gap. That spirit of effortless connection is the foundation of this pub—a place where the door is always open and everyone has a seat at the table.
Subbu Vibha Iyer shared that same rhythm halfway across the world in India, playing Stapoo. Having spent years building a life and family in Schaumburg, Subbu saw the town was missing its “village green”—a dedicated pub where sport, story, and community collide.
When Dipak and Subbu met, they didn’t just want to build a business; they wanted to build a Public House. A place inspired by childhood games and fueled by a shared love for the roar of a cricket crowd and the perfect swing of a golf club.
“A pub is the soul of the city, and every guest is a part of its history.”
